Teaching Turn-Taking

Turn-taking goes hand in hand with building attention skills and is a vital part of communication.

Whatever turn taking game you choose, make sure you set clear rules about how the children will know who's turn it is. Explain, we are going to take turns to pick a flag/ catch the ball/ stack a block etc. Try to do this visually by demonstrating as you go rather than just using words
